Karen Louise Gay

Mrs. Karen Loiuse Reed Gay, 78, of Nickville Rd. Dewy Rose, GA passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024. 

Mrs. Gay was born January 15, 1946 in Canandaigua, New York to Eugene Heath Reed, Sr. and Dorothy Florence Oothout Reed. She was a member of Dewy Rose Baptist Church, was retired from the automotive industry where she worked for a auto-part distribution center and loved to fish.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Kenny and Shanda Martin of Dewy Rose, GA, daughter and son-in-law: Kellie and Aaron Hulit of Cartersville, GA; sisters: Heather McCartin of Lovell, KY, Sharon Cook of Oglethorpe, GA, brother: Eugene Heath Reed, Jr. of Woodstock, GA; grandchildren: Ty Martin, Hunter Martin, Chris Martin, AJ Hulit, Alison Hulit and Amy Lee Hulit.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Donald Wayne Gay.

Mrs. Gay will lie in state at Dewy Rose Baptist Church where the family will receive friends from 2PM to 3PM Thursday, January 25 at Dewy Rose Baptist Church. Mrs. Gay will be laid to rest in Bushnell National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
