Kathryn Maxwell Thomason

Kathryn Maxwell Lewis Thomason, 91, of 94 Cade Street, Hartwell, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Hart Health Care Center. Mrs. Thomason was born in Elbert County, Ga. to the late Artemus and Sara V. Maxwell.She was married for over 50 years to the late Don F. Lewis and re-married to the late John Henry Thomason. Mrs. Thomason is survived by nephews; George (Jo Ann) Lewis, Jim (Candi) Adams, Don (Lynn) Adams and Bob (Jane) Adams; long time family friends; Mary Lynn (Jim) Evans, Charlie (Susan) Eavenson and Bud (Rhonda) Eavenson. Mrs. Thomason was a long time member of the Pilot Club and a life long member of Concord United Methodist Church. The funeral service for Mrs. Thomason will be Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Concord United Methodist Church.Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, June 17, 2011, from 6-8 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services.Interment will be at Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will be at 2030 Hartwell Highway, Elberton, Ga. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concord United Methodist Church.
