Kathy Ann Parham Addison

Mrs. Kathy Ann Parham Addison, 71, of Rousey Road, Elberton, wife of H. Dean Addison, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Kathy was born in Greenwood, SC on June 28, 1950, daughter of the late Boyd Hall Parham and Hazel Cleo Compton Parham. She was a 1968 graduate of Elbert County High School and furthered her education at Georgia Southern University. Kathy dedicated her life to being the best wife and mother that she could be, and delighted herself in spoiling her grandchildren. She enjoyed her time with her Beta Sigma Phi family as well as volunteering with the Elbert Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors, in addition to her husband Dean, include her daughters: Deana and Emmanuel Moreno of Dunwoody and Amy Addison of Elberton; grandchildren: Logan Addison, Roman Moreno, Alaina Addison, and June Moreno; brothers: Randy and Robbie Parham and Tim Parham, all of Elberton; sister-in-law, Marilyn Addison; and numerous other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Harold and Laverne Addison.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, November 11, at 11 o’clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park with Emmanuel Moreno, Evan Parham, Jason Brown, Josh Brown, Clint Webb, and Glenn Parham honored as pallbearers.

The family is at the residence of Marilyn Addison, 1967 Washington Highway, Elberton, and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m on Wednesday, November 10.
