Kathy Dale Black King

Kathy Dale Black King, 56, of 1643 Hunter Road, Elberton, wife of Joel Dennis King, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Elbert County July 26, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Olin Black and Unie Williams Black. Survivors include her husband, Dennis, of the home; son, Tony King of Elberton; sisters, Dollie Bosler of Spartenburg, Shirley Sanders and Judy Vickery, both of Hartwell, Jan Alexander of Elberton; brothers, Ed Black and Wayne Black both of Elberton, Tommy Black of Hartwell. She was preceded in death by brothers, Bobby Black & Jerry Black. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 23, at 11 A.M. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Stowe and Fred Greenway officiating. Burial will be in Coldwater Methodist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home, 1643 Hunter Road, and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home, Friday (July 22) from 6-8 PM. Pallbearers are Jeff Sanders, Dennis Bailey, David Bailey, Richard Adams, Max Smith and Josh Smith. Honorary pallbearer, Jamie Cleveland.
