Kenneth Almond

Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” Almond, 62, of Elberton, husband of 19 years to Lisa Pless Almond, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at his residence.

Mr. Almond was born in Elbert County on July 2, 1955, son of the late Thomas Dallas “Doc” Almond and Eloise Smith Almond. He worked in the granite industry and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving are his wife, Lisa; two daughters: Stephanie Almond and Kassidy Almond; grandson, Brantley Almond; siblings: Jack Almond, Douglas Almond, Brenda Haynie, Danny Almond, and Tammy Almond; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, January 16, at 7 o’clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with family and friends officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 5:00-6:30p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service.
