Kenneth Nelms

Mr. Kenneth Nelms, 83, of Deep Creek Rd., Bowman, GA husband of Beth Bowen Nelms passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at his home. Mr. Nelms was born January 14, 1933 in Dewy Rose, GA to the late Arthur Nelms and Zelma Kathleen Brown Nelms. He graduated from the University of Clemson in 1957, was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Bowman Baptist Church and was retired from BASF. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Beth Bowen Nelms of Bowman, GA; son David Nelms of LaGrange, GA; daughters Kathryn Whatley of LaGrange, GA, Sharon Kennedy of LaGrange, GA and seven grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Imogene Snellings. Mr. Nelms wishes were to be cremated and private memorial services to celebrate his life were held. Berry Funeral Home & Crematory, Elberton is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Kenneth Nelms.
