Kenneth W. Wilson

Mr. Kenneth W. Wilson, 65, of Elberton, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. He was born in Anniston, Alabama on July 24, 1948 to the late Robert Cody and Lura LaVena Scoggins Wilson. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Beverly Wilson;two sons: Greg Wilson and Reid Higginbotham;grandchildren:Brady and Brooklyn Wilson; a brother,Mike Wilson and his wife Frances;nieces: Leigh Starrett and her family, Dee Dee Leach, andAlaine Stepp;and nephews: Allen Wilson and his family, and Zachary Maner. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by two sisters,Jean Jones and Jo Maner. Memorial services celebrating his life will be held Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be at Hicks Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. just prior to the service.
