Born in Hall County, he was a son of the late Kermit R. Booth Sr. and Gladys Mae Wallace Booth. He was retired from the U.S. Navy after 21 years of service, where he was a veteran of the Vietnam War and Korean Conflict, he was a member of the American Legion for 16 years, and a lifelong member of the VFW. Survivors include his wife Geneva Dunn Booth, sons Kermit R. Booth III, and Gregory Keith Booth, a brother Edward R. Booth, grandchildren Bridgette, Brooke, Lance, Cory, Kerri, Jacob, and Kyle, great-grandchildren Emma, Savannah, Patrick, and a 4th expected. Funeral services will be held Friday September 18, at 12PM at the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 6-9PM Thursday night at Berry Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Booth Memorial Park in Statham, GA with Military Honors.
