Kevin Garnett Tyner

Mr. Kevin Garnett Tyner, 35, of Waynesboro, Georgia entered into rest on Friday, March 28, 2014 at his residence. He was the fiancé of Cheryl Ryals of Waynesboro. He was born in Elberton to Angela Bailey Rice and the late Edward Garnett Tyner, Sr., attended the Waynesboro Church of God, and was employed with Pineland Bakery in Waynesboro. He is survived by his mother of Augusta; children, Alyssia Rain Tyner, Emily Rebecca Tyner, and Kevin Nathaniel Tyner; siblings, Travis Rice of Augusta, Stephanie Calhoun of KY, Edward Garnett Tyner, Jr., Michelle Johnson of Statham, and Missy Rice of Athens; niece, Brianna Rice; two nephews, Noah and Jacob Rice; aunts and uncles, Harold and Betty Bailey, Lorena Kidd, Bonnie Evans, Laverne Evans; and extended family, Harmon and Linda Rice and Louise and Paul Gary. A Celebration of Kevin's life will be held on Saturday, April 5, at 2:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Leon Suttles and family and friends officiating. Graveside services and inurnment will follow in the Fortsonia Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
