Kevin Lamar "Fluff" Johnson

Mr. Kevin Lamar "Fluff" Johnson, 52, of 2385 Anderson Highway, Elberton, husband of Dana Michelle Goff Johnson, left this life entirely too soon on Sunday, October 24, 2021.

Born in Elberton on March 18, 1969, he was a son of the late Jerry Lamar Johnson and Carolyn Christine Rousey Johnson. Kevin was a 1987 graduate of Elbert County High School and was currently employed at Dixie Granite Company as a top polisher. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and made some of the best jerky around. Fluff was a friend to many and will be remembered for his infectious smile and laughter.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Dana, include his son, Blake Turner and his fiancé Emily; grandson, Sawyer Turner; brother, Keith Johnson; father-in-law, Belton Goff; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Judy Goff; and niece and nephew: Carmen Johnson and Cody Goff.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Lynn Hill.

A time of visitation celebrating Fluff’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 26, from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home. At other hours the family will be at the home. Fluff was adamant that he did not want a formal service, and the family is honoring his request. He will be laid to rest in the family columbarium at Elmhurst Cemetery during a private committal service officiated by the Rev. Tim Adams.
