Kimberly Rice Kimberly Rice, age 41, of Athens, passed away February 16, 2009.Kimberly was a graduate of Berkmar High School, Truett McConnell College, and graduated with honors from the University of Georgia.She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Morgan and Blythe Rice of Bowman, and Leila Vaughn of Royston. She is survived by her lifepartner, Sherry Brooks, of Athens; parents, Clinton and Patsy Rice of Norcross, Louise Brooks, of Athens; grandfather, Durell Vaughn, of Royston; sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Ricky Williams of Rome; two nephews, Riley and Cooper Williams, of Rome. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 19 at 11:00 in Hicks Funeral Home Chapel.Rev. Michael Stovall officiating.Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Bowman.
