Mrs. Ella Maude "Kitty" Stringer Rosser, 88, resident of Magnolia Estates, formerly of Churchill Road, wife of the late William A. "Bill" Rosser, Jr., passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013, at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Rosser was born on March 24, 1925, in Baxley, Georgia to the late Daniel Milton and Dora Isabelle Hare Stringer. She was a homemaker and a member of Elberton Christian Church. Her family was the light of her life. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Pete Dye and Sherry and Mike Webb, all of Elberton; step-son, Tony Rosser of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren and spouses, Denise and Shawn Callaway, David and Michelle Dye, Loren and Chris Lewis, and Michael and Rachel Webb; great-grandchildren, Dawson Dye, Evan Callaway, Colton Callaway, Rylee Lewis, Jackson Lewis, Asher Webb, and Grayson Webb; special childhood friend, Anna Lee Lightsey of Baxley; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, October 2, at 11:00a.m. in the Elberton Christian Church with the Revs. Bill Eaton and Jay Akin officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park with David Dye, Michael Webb, Shawn Callaway, Chris Lewis, Dawson Dye, and Evan Callaway honored as pallbearers. The family is at the residence of Pete and Darlene Dye on Pine Needle Lane and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Tuesday evening.
