Mr. Larry James Head, Sr., of the Danburg Rd. In Washington, passed away Monday afternoon, April 20, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Head was born in Cleveland, Ga., and had lived in Wilkes County for the last 32 years with his wife and children. He was the son of the late James Robert and Myrtle Helton Head. He was a retired self employed construction contractor/farmer, and dearly loved his family, farming, and fishing-especially bass fishing. He was a member of the Fishing Creek Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
Mr. Head is survived by his wife, Sherry Hewatt Head, of the home; one daughter, Carey H. Streetman, of Washington; one son, Jamie Head, and wife Lori, of Washington; two grandchildren, Brittany S. Carstens, and husband Josh, and Dylan Streetman, and wife Tiffany, both of Washington; and four great grandchildren, Harley, Raylan, Wyatt, and Colten.
