Larry Smith

Mr. Larry Wayne Smith, of Carlton, Ga., passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013, at his home.Mr. Smith was born in Oglethorpe County, June 12, 1943. He was the son of the late Henry Lawrence Smith and Lou Hilda Harrison Smith. He was also preceded in death by brothers: Clayton Smith, Donald Smith and George Smith. He was retired from the Textile Industry and was a member of Burt’s United Methodist Church, Carlton. Left to cherish his memories are his sisters: Jessie (Jerry) Streat of Nicholls Georgia, and Barbara Cleveland and nephew Michael Cleveland of the home, Carlton, Georgia and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services celebrating his life were held Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Burt’s United Methodist Church, Carlton, Georgia. Interment followed in Burt’s United Methodist Church Cemetery.The family will received friends at Burt’s United Methodist Church jsut prior to the funeral.
