Lena Ruth Dye

Mrs. Lena Ruth Dye, 94, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Wellstar Hospice Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain, Marietta, Ga. Lena was born in Walton County Georgia on March 24, 1920 to the late Amy Dobbs and William W. Jones.She was married to the late George Clark Dye. She was retired from Curtis 1000 Printing Company where she was a press operator. Mrs. Dye is survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Sammy and Judy Dye of Marietta, Georgia and Richard and Gwen Dye of Tucker, Georgia; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Dye was also preceded in by two brothers and four sister. A service to celebrate Mrs. Dye’s life was held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hicks Funeral with the Pastor Al Butler officiating. A time of visitation for family and friends will be from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. at Hicks funeral Home just prior to the funeral.
