Linda Gable Hays

Mrs. Linda Gable Hays, 67, of Calhoun Falls Hwy., Elberton, GA passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Hays was born May 15, 1951 in McCormick, SC to Joseph Lee Gable and Edith Shrine Gable. She was retired from Walmart of Elberton where she worked in the garden department.

She is survived by her husband: Jimmy Hays; daughter: Lisa Willoughby and her fiancé Chris Sparks of Dewy Rose, GA, daughter and son-in-law: Tina and Mike Scoggins of Dewy Rose, GA; siblings and their spouses: Robert Lee Gable of McCormick, SC, Joyce and John Martin of Greenwood, SC, Mary and Jackie Edmunds of Greenwood, SC, Betty and Larry Brock of Greenwood, SC, George and Connie Gable of McCormick, SC, Wayne and Carolyn Gable of McCormick, SC; grandchildren: Ashley W. Dennis, Kayla W. Webb, Cole Willoughby, Bianca Willoughby, BJ Oglesby, Kerri Scoggins, Megon Scoggins; great-grandchildren: Braden Smith, Bristol Smith, Lawton Dennis, Addyson Webb, Mayson Webb, Kane Hunter and Priscilla Scoggins.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister: Margaret Gable.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 3PM, Wednesday, July 25 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. The family is at the home of Tina and Mike Scoggins 1905 Hewell Rd. Dewy Rose, GA and will receive friends from 1-3PM Wednesday just before the service at Berry Funeral Home.
