Mrs. Linda Hill Willoughby, 77, of Paoli Road, Carlton, went to be with the Lord and the love of her life, Albert Randell Willoughby, on Monday, June 11, 2018, at her residence.
Mrs. Willoughby was born in Elberton on November 25, 1940, daughter of the late Thomas Sanders Hill and Mable Mallory Hammond Hill. She was a spinner in the textile industry having retired from Beaulieu America and a member of Flatwoods Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are her children and their spouses: Gail and Ricky Hulme, Vicky and Rod Akins, and Tommy and Elizabeth Willoughby; grandchildren and their spouses: Josh and Brandi Willoughby, Elizabeth W. Crews, Heather and Ronald Mooney, Brittany Akins, Jeremy and Tiffany Hulme, Neal and Jennifer Montgomery, Ashley and Steven Wallace, Sandy Davison, and Clint and Stephanie Montgomery; and great-grandchildren: Elijah, Grayson, Ava, and Nora Willoughby, Mackenzie, Madison, Lexi, and Dylan Crews, Justin “JJ” and Jackson “JT” Mooney, Christian and Brantley Montgomery, Bryson, Mycah, and Bethany Wallace, Jessie and Gracie Davison, Trent, Leland, and Elissa Montgomery.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, June 14, at 11 o’clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Revs. Danny Cheek, Clay Huff, and Josh Willoughby officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery with the Rev. Henry Shelton officiating.
The family is at the residence and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Wednesday evening.
