Linda Kay Johnson

Linda Kay Johnson, 63, of 2848 River Road Elberton, died at 2117 Dr. George Ward Road, Elberton, Friday November 12, 2010. Born in Elbert County she was a daughter of the late Joel Thomas Kay and Nettie Sue Brown Kay. She was a member Believers Baptist Church and was a retired office clerk for RTS Packaging LLC. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Laura and Eddie Martin of Elberton, GA, a brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Delphine Kay of Cleveland, GA, sister-in-law Barbara Kay of Elberton, GA, grandchild William Elijah "Eli" Martin, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Doyle Kay. A Celebration of her life will be Monday November 15, at 2PM at Believers Baptist Church with Pastor Waymon Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 12:30 to 2PM just prior to the service at Believers Baptist Church. Pallbearers will include Bobby Hill, Brad Hill, Brian Chastain, Jeremy Dotson, Marty Bagwell, and Rob Hill. The family has requested please in lieu of flowers to make memorials in her honor to Believers Baptist Church 89 E. Clairmont Ave. Elberton, GA 30635.
