Linda Mairholtz Wilson

Linda was born in Elberton, Georgia to the late Webb and Nora Frances Johnson Mairholtz. She was a graduate of Athens High School, a member of the First Baptist Church of Athens and retired from Delmar Blinds after many years of service. She volunteered with the Madison County Elections Board, for many years and enjoyed flower gardening, watching The Andy Griffith Show and old Westerns.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Bobby Jack Wilson, son, Ricky Wilson, brother-in-law, Billy Dewey Wilson and sister, Marie Mairholtz Davis, preceded Linda in death.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Cindy Wilson Bennett and her husband, Keith, of Athens; sister, Nadine Mairholtz Johnston and her husband, Darryl of Athens; grandchildren, Nolan Bennett and Ike Bennett both of Atlanta; nieces, Joy House and her husband, Chad of Danielsville and Frances Roen and her husband, Erick of Minnesota; nephews, Christian Roen of Minnesota and Marcus House and Toby House both of Danielsville.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Thursday, September 7, 2023 in Bernstein Funeral Home.

A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 7, 2023 in Oconee Hill Cemetery with Reverend Dave Smith officiating.
