Lisa Allison Florence Brown

Mrs. Lisa Allison Florence Brown, wife of Larry J. Brown, entered into rest at her home in Watkinsville, Georgia on Wednesday morning, August 24, 2016, at the age of 60.

Born in Elberton on July 28, 1956, she was a graduate of Elbert County High School and obtained a child development degree from Athens Technical College. She was a customer service representative having worked at DENON Electronics. Lisa loved her family, music, and animals.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 39 years, Larry, of the home; son, Taylor Brown of Watkinsville; father, Al Florence of Elberton; mother, Peggy Callaway Milford of Athens; sister, Linda Polniak and her husband Ray of Cape Canaveral, Florida; step-brother, Keith Milford and his wife Allison of Duluth; brother-in-law, Leon Brown and his wife Julia of Rock Hill, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her step-father, Pat Milford; grandparents: Otis, Jr. and Gladys Callaway and Tom and Edythe Florence; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Bonnie Brown.

The Memorial Service celebrating Lisa’s life will be held on Saturday, August 27, at 3:30p.m. from the First Baptist Church of Elberton with the Rev. Roger Aikens and the Rev. Gary Purvis officiating.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 2:00-3:15p.m. in the church sanctuary prior to the service.
