Lola Jane Shaw Coleman

Mrs. Lola Jane Shaw Coleman, age 80, of Joe Bailey Road, Hartwell, wife of the late Paul Charles Coleman, III, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Nancy Hart Nursing Center.

Mrs. Coleman was born in Royston on October 23, 1943, daughter of the late Boyd Emmanuel Shaw and Mary Louise Haney Shaw. She retired from the clothing department of Wal-Mart in Orlando, FL, where she lived for many years. Lola Jane was a fun and outgoing lady. She loved music and dancing, and spending time walking in nature. She was a talented writer who was in the process of writing a book before her dementia increased rapidly.

Survivng are her children: Chris Brazda of Hartwell and Paul C. Coleman, IV; sister, Linda Jeane Christian of Hartwell; niece and nephews: Raquel Christian, Chad Christian, Scott Shaw, Jeff Shaw, Jarrett Shaw, and Brandon Shaw; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James Winford Shaw.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
