Lorraine Nancy Darminio

Mrs. Lorraine Nancy Darminio, 76, of Mountview Dr., Mocksville, NC passed away peacefully in her sleep on the afternoon of April 7, 2017 at Spring Valley Health and Rehab in Elberton, GA, after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Darminio was born October 2, 1940 in Mt. Vernon, NY. She was married to the late Mario Darminio in nashua, New Hampshire and them moved to North Carolina in the late 90's. Lorraine graduated from Davis High School in Mt. Vernon, NY, and then continued her education at Franklin Pierce College, getting a master's degree in accounting.

Mrs. Darminio was a member of St. Frances Catholic Church in Mocksville, NC.

She was a loving mother to her children, a devoted daughter of the late John Kelley, Sr. and Stella Kelley, loving sister to the late John Kelley, Jr., and was devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a loving family, Laura Flanagan of Mocksville, NC, son, Michael Manning of Hudson, NH, Naomi Manning of Yadkinville, NC, and Carolyn Crookham of Tignall, GA.

Other survivors include; Derek Beland of NH, Jeremy Beland of NC, Sara Manning of NH, Kelsey Holley and Cody Holley both of GA, Patricia Reynolds of NH and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held 2PM, Saturday, April 15 at the home of her daughter Carolyn Crookham at 1521 Bolton Rd. in Tignall, GA.

Lorraine has left a wonderful legacy. Thank you for the great memories. I hear laughter in the clouds now knowing that you will be dancing again.
