Mrs. Louise Tucker Black, 63, of Elberton passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at her home. A native ofElberton,Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sara Barrett Tucker.She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Tucker and Eugene Tucker. Mrs. Black had worked for J.P. Stevens in the textile industry.She was a member of Newtown Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of47 years, James L. “Bobe” Black; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sara and Chad Anderson and Crystal and Chad Algood, and one son and daughter-in-law, James C. “Bo”and Nicole Black, all of Elberton; two sisters, Christine Massey, of Florida, and Judy Nutt, of Lawrenceville; one brother, Daniel Tucker and his wife Ann of Elberton; and grandchildren, Jace Rhein, Brinston Anderson, Kaytlyn Higginbotham, Tyler Black, and Amber Black. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Newtown Baptist Church, Carlton, GA with Chuck Black officiating.Interment followed in the church cemetery. Arrangements for Mrs. Louise Tucker Black were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elberton.
