Louise Smith Thomason

Sara 'Louise' Smith Thomason, 87, of 214 Elizabeth Street, Elberton, wife of the late Bobby L. Thomason, Sr., passed away Thursday morning, March 29, 2012, at her residence. Mrs. Thomason was born in Elbert County, July 19, 1924, to the late Lindsay Scott and Lou Alma Morris Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of the Elberton First Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are her children and their spouses, Bobby L., Jr. and Debra Thomason and Pamela T. and Tommy Anderson, all of Elberton; grandchildren, Michael Thomason and Ashley Anderson; and one sister, Martha Jo Scott of Savannah. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one brother, George Walter Smith. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11AM Saturday, March 31, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Eaton officiating. Interment will follow in Fortsonia Community Cemetery. The Thomason family is at their respective homes and will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8PM Friday evening.
