Lula Jackson Mattox

Mrs. Lula Jackson Mattox, 92, entered her eternal rest on Sunday, October 25, 2020.

She was born August 23, 1928 to the late Allen and Eva Smith Jackson.

Lula (Bell) as her family called her would later marry Mr. James Mattox and during their union was born two children Mrs. Sharon Davis and Mr. James Mattox, Jr.

Lula knew how to make you laugh and her smile would light up a room.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her four sisters Mrs. Sally Mae Willis, Mrs. Mozzell Jackson, Mrs. Rozzell Moore and Mrs. Annie Ruth Almond.

She leaves to cherish her memories are her children, her caretaker and granddaughter Mrs. Shervon Mattox Heard, Mr. Treamall Jerwayne Williams, Ms. Tyvon Ali-Kwanda Williams, Mr. Deldrine Malloyd Mattox, Ms. DruNisha Heard-Mattox, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom loved her.

Mrs. Mattox was cremated and memorial services to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
