Lydia Estelle Rae

Mrs. Lydia Estelle Rea, age 98, of Marianna, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the Chipola Nursing Pavillion. Mrs. Rea had been a resident of Marianna for the past eight years; coming from Tavares, FL. and was of the Methodist faith. At an early age, Estelle discovered her love of flying and as a hobby became a pilot. She also enjoyed playing bridge, fishing, and was an avid gardener who loved her grandchildren. Mrs. Rea is the grandmother of Kelly Swearingen and her husband Danny of Marianna. Graveside services for Mrs. Rea will be held at 11:00 AM EST, Monday, December 28, 2009 in the Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Elberton, Georgia.
