Marcel Renee Alexander Higgins

Marcel Renee Alexander Higgins, 56, of Sugar Run, PA, formerly of Bowman, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021, in Sayre, PA.

Marcel was born in Atlanta on December 14, 1965, daughter of the late Earl Alexander and Ruth Hyatt Alexander. She was a merchandiser having worked with American Greeting Cards. She enjoyed photography and was a devoted mother and “NanaMom”.

Survivors include her children: Daniel R. Higgins and his wife Destiny, Holly Higgins, Cristy Higgins, and Jade Higgins; siblings: Tammy Burns and her husband Paul, and Shannon Alexander; grandchildren: Holden, Brooklyn, Savannah, Daniel, Landen, Kameron, Trey, and Lacey Rose; and great-grandson, Waylon.

Memorial services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, January 15, at 11 o'clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Sean Thomas officiating.

The family will greet friends at Berry Funeral Home from 10:00-10:45a.m. on Saturday, just prior to the service.
