Margaret B. Rucker

Born in Elbert County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Carpenter Bond. She was a member of the Elberton First United Methodist Church and a retired teacher. Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Baldwin of Marietta, GA; sons, William (Bill) Rucker of Gramling, SC and James B. Rucker of Irmo, SC; 8 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday (Jan. 26) at the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. The family is at the home, 126 Brookside Drive and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home, Monday (Jan. 26) from 1-2 PM. The family requests no flowers and memorials may be made to the Elberton First United Methodist Church.
