Margaret Elizabeth Garner

Ms. Margaret Elizabeth Garner, 56, of Hartwell, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. Ms. Garner was the daughter of late Jimmy Preston Garner and Evelyn Rosetta Gardner.She worked in the textile industry. Ms. Garner is survived by two daughters: Renee Oviedo of Athens, and Kristen Oviedo (Samuel) of Elberton; her step-father, Clifford Gardner of Elberton; two brothers: Richard Garner (Marie) of Lavonia, and Randy Garner of Elberton; and one sister, Linda Virgilio (Jerry) of Elberton.She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, and five nieces and nephews. A time of visitation and remembrance for family and friends was held on Saturday afternoon, March 11, 2017, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the home of Linda and Gerald Virgilio, at 304 Cook Street in Elberton. Arrangements for Ms. Margaret Elizabeth Garner were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
