Margaret Elizabeth Kurtz

Margaret Elizabeth Hubbard Kurtz, 100, of Elberton, wife of 67 years to the late Charles Dayton Kurtz, Sr., passed away peacefully on September 19, 2023 at her residence of Magnolia Estates. Mrs. Kurtz was born in Bergenfield, New Jersey on August 5, 1923, daughter of the late Harold and Theresa Hubbard. She worked as a homemaker and she loved being visited by her family during her stay at Magnolia Estates. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Billy Crosby of Hayesville, North Carolina; her daughter, Nancy Maloney of St. Petersburg, Florida; and her son and daughter-in-law, Dayton and Kathy Kurtz of Elberton. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gail Kurtz Boram. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She requested no services and wished to be cremated.
