Margaret H. Worley

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Henderson Worley, 93, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Comer Health & Rehab Center.Born in Washington, Georgia, Mrs. Worley was the daughter of the late Bernard Z. and Lucille Edwards Henderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd “Charlie” Worley, having celebrated over 36 years of marriage together. Mrs. Worley is survived by three daughters: Diane Bufford and her husband, Larry, of Cleveland, GA, Peggy Williams and her husband, Russ, of Efland, NC, and Judith Worley of Elberton; two grandchildren: Megan McCurley of Hartwell, and Charlie Anne Bufford and her children Madison and Zoey Mitchell of Elberton; and great-grandchildren: Davis, Will, and Ty McCurley, and Hannah Richardson and her daughter, Ellie Rae. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Worley was preceded in death by siblings: Bernard Henderson, Jr., Louise Carlton, and Wayne Henderson;and grandchildren, Lara Jeanne Bufford and Johnathan Nicolas McCurley. A graveside service was held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Park, with Mr. Larry Bufford officiating. Arrangements for Mrs. Margaret Worley were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
