Marie Jane Saxon

Mrs. Marie Jane Verpraet Saxon, 83, of South Segars St. Bowman, GA passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at Hart Care Center. Mrs. Saxon was born September 17, 1932 in Pekin, IL to the late Roger Verpraet and Jennie Spotti Verpraet. Left to cherish her memories are children Michael Alan Vanderwater of Bowman, GA, Terry Leon Vanderwater of Covington, GA, Shirley Jean Barnes of LaGrange, GA, Diane Lee Bailey of Hartwell, GA, Lisa Lynn Willis of Bowman, GA; eleven grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by son Cary Dean Vanderwater, brother Charles Verpraet and sister Jennie Dipietroantonio. Graveside services to celebrate her life will be held 2PM, Wednesday December 16 at Franklin Memorial Gardens in Lavonia, GA with Rev. Patrick Duffy officiating. Berry Funeral Home & Crematory, Elberton is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs .Marie Jane Verpraet Saxon.
