Marilyn Williams Booth

Mrs. Marilyn Joy Williams Booth, 81, of Elberton, passed away Monday, December 2, 2019 at Elbert Memorial Hospital.A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Roy F. and Helen Chanoby Williams.She was the widow of the late Jimmy Lane Booth, Sr., to whom she was married fifty three years before he passed away in 2013.Mrs. Booth was also preceded in death by two sons, David Booth and Todd Booth, as well as a sister, Clarice Tibbetts. Survivors include children, Delaine Booth, Tammy Booth, Debbie Segars, Jimmy L. (Melissa) Booth, Jr., Shannon Booth and Billy Booth; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family; sisters Diane Fleming and Helen Junkins. Funeral services were held Friday at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Hicks Funeral Home and Cremation Services.Interment followed in Elmhurst Cemetery with Jimmy Booth, III, Brayden Segars, Hunter Booth, David Booth, Levi Baxter, Mark McGarity, Jr., and Brad Blakemore serving as pallbearers.
