Marion Alexander Chafin

Mr. Marion "Pluggie" Alexander Chafin, 75, of Old Lexington Road, Crawford, GA, husband of May Ross Chafin passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Comer Nursing Home in Comer, GA. Mr. Chafin was born April 7, 1939 in Washington, GA to the late Luther and Dempy Chafin. He was retired from Edison Plastics where he worked in the Railroad Division and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of the home May Ross Chafin; son David Chafin of Athens, GA; daughter Vicky Cofer of Athens, GA and a brother L.E. Chafin of Abbeville, SC. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers O.L. Chafin, Donnie Chafin and Ellis Chafin. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held at the home on Old Lexington Road, Crawford, GA, Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 2-4PM.
