Marion Van McGarity

Marion Van McGarity, 75, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 at Spring Valley Health Care Facility. Mr. McGarity was the son of the late Harold & Naomi McGarity. Mr. McGarity is survived by his wife JoAnn McGarity of the home, children; Mark McGarity, Sr. and Liane Lee, 6 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.He is also survived by 2 sisters; Phyllis Duchinski, Linda Marsh and one brother David McGarity.He was preceded in death by two sons and one daughter. The service for Mr. McGarity will be Monday, February 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home Chapel.Visitation will be Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m.Burial will be at the Elmhurst Cemetery.
