Marion White Denney

Mrs. Marion White Denney, 90, of Elberton, wife of the late Coleman Lee Denney, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Denney was born in Arago Township, MN on November 18, 1924, to the late Thomas Arthur and Elsie Elizabeth Roeske White. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Elberton Church of God. Left to cherish her memories are her son and daughter-in-law, Marvin and Jacque Denney of Elberton; granddaughter, Heather Eaves of Elberton; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Lester Swartley of Park Rapids, MN; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings: Kenneth White and Mildred Undheim. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, July 3, at 2:00p.m. in the Elberton Church of God with the Rev. Leon Suttles officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45p.m. on Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to Elberton Church of God or to the charity of one's choice.
