Marjorie Johnson Bradford

Marjorie Johnson Bradford, age 85, of North Charleston SC, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 30th 2011 at her residence. She was born in Columbia, SC on July 26th 1926 to the late Horace Paul Johnson and Mabel Roberts Johnson. She was the wife of the late Carl Curtis Bradford and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church in Elberton GA, and then attended Riverbluff Baptist Church in Charleston SC during her extended illness. She was a retired clerical worker. Mrs. Bradford is survived by her children: Rev. Curt Bradford (Joyce) of Charleston SC, Kennon Bradford (Jo) of Elberton GA, Lynn Redfern (Mickey) of Charleston SC, and Cindy Dezearn (Chuck) of Mt Pleasant SC; grandchildren Jason Curtis Bradford (Renee)of Nashville TN, Heather Tyson (Jimmy) of Mt Holly NJ, Brooke Chatham (Jayson) of Goldsboro NC, Ryan Bradford of Elberton GA, Josh Bradford (Misty) of Elberton GA, Katie Aston (Derek) of Elberton GA, Chad Thornton (Felicia) of Washington GA, C.J. Redfern of Brooklyn NY, Sara Dezearn of Charleston SC, Chelsea Dezearn of Mt Pleasant SC, and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Curtis Bradford. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 3rd 2011 at Riverbluff Baptist Church, 5421 Riverbluff Parkway, North Charleston, SC 29420. Graveside services and interment will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 4th 2011 at Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2503 Harmony Road, Elberton GA 30635. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 2nd 2011 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston SC 29406.
