Miss Majorie Daphne Wilkins, 63, of 1050 Petersburg Rd, Elberton,passed away Friday, August 12, 2011 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Miss Wilkins was born in Franklin County, daughter of the late Frank Pulliam and Margaret Dickerson. Miss Wilkins is survived by a half-brother, Paul Jordan; a half-sister, Rita Cash; aunts: Jackie Thompson, Nita Nash, Miriam Stephenson, Anna Turner, Mary Ann Jones, Lavonia Turner;uncle, Sammy Dickerson;and also several nieces and nephews.Miss Wilkins was preceded in death by her parents,her son, Jeffrey Wilkins, and her half-brother, Bruce Jordan. A service celebrating Miss Wilkins’ life will be Sunday afternoon, August 14, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home, with Rev. Sean Baughman officiating.Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon prior to the service.Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
