Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Stearns Hozey, 66, of Iva, SC, wife of Lane Hozey, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014, at Heardmont Nursing Home. Mrs. Hozey was born in Scranton, PA on May 17, 1948, to the late Curtis and Victoria Gorsky Stearns. She was a homemaker. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Lane Hozey of the home; son, Roy Detzner of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Crystal Detzner of Kirkland, IL; siblings: Paul Stearns of Anderson, SC, Frank Stearns of Mechanicsburg, PA, Ruth Paul of Pickens, SC, and Anne Stearns of Laurens, SC; and one grandson.
