Martha Jane Jordan

Ms. Martha Jane Hooper Jordan, 81, of Paoli Road, Comer, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Comer Health & Rehabilitation Center. 

Martha was born in Ila on January 18, 1943, daughter of the late J.H. Hooper and Monnie Jordan Hooper Lewallen. She was a retired operating room nurse after working for Dr. Thomas Montgomery for 20+ years.

Martha was dedicated to the Lord, an avid animal lover, and a true fan of Braves baseball and Georgia football.

Surviving are her children: Wesley (Wendy) Jordan and Kimberly (Kenny) Lee; grandchildren: Alex Jordan, Nicole Jordan, Mitchell (Kimberly) Lee, and Jordan (Jessica) Lee; great-grandchildren: Sawyer Lee and Lillian Lee. She is preceded in death by her sister, Hilda Massey. 

Martha’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Moon’s Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at 10AM with the service to follow at 11AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Matha’s name may be made to the Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
