Martha Lee Williford

Mrs. Martha Lee McElhannon Williford, 84, of Hospital Rd., Washington, GA wife of the late Hoyt Williford passed away Monday, July 24, 2017.

Mrs. Williford was born June 7, 1933 in Franklin County, GA to Charlie McElhannon and Pearl McElhannon. She was a member of Bethesda Church in Lexington, GA and was a retired chicken processor.

Survivors include a son: Scott Williford of Lexington, GA; daughters: Robin Hubbard of Crawford, GA, Sandra Hilley of Lexington, GA, Angela Williford of Lexington, GA; siblings: Ruby Arnold of Rayle, GA, Sally Mae Arnold of Comer, GA, Faye Johnson of Gray, GA, Dorothy Callaway of Rayle, GA, Dr. James McElhannon of Palm Springs, CA, grandchildren: Casey Hubbard, Tracey Hubbard, David Hilley Jr., great-grandchildren: Kane Arnold, Kayleigh Hilley and Dalton David Hilley.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son: James Elvis Williford, daughters: Martha Jean Williford, Mariette Williford, Jackie Williford; grandson: Cody Williford; granddaughter: Pam Williford; siblings: Margie Nell Hubbard, Annie Kate McElhannon, Emily Nash McElhannon, Joyce Ann McElhannon and Betty Jean McElhannon.

Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held 3PM, Thursday, July 27 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Arnold officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-3PM just before the service at Berry Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Tracey Hubbard, Kane Arnold, Davie Hilley, Dalton Hilley, Willard Queen, Leonard Arnold, Charles Boggs and Howard Escoe.
