Mary Elizabeth Burdette Dickerson

Mary Elizabeth Burdette Dickerson, 69, of 1426 J.W. Kelly Road, Dewy Rose, wife of the late Thomas Stanley Dickerson, died Monday morning, September 19, 2011, at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Dickerson was born in Chattanooga, TN, August 28, 1942, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Burdette. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are her children and their spouses, Nancy and Keith Holmes of Bowman, Brenda and Marvin Fricks of Dewy Rose, Tammie Dickerson and Earnest Ardister of Dewy Rose, and John Dickerson of the home; step-children and their spouses, Nancy and Norris Dickerson of Bowman, Rickie and Kathi Dickerson of Elberton, and Jeannie and Billy Pack of Duncan, SC; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11AM Thursday, September 22, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8PM Wednesday night.
