Mary Sanders Fendley

Mary Evelyn Sanders Fendley died Sunday, September 7th at the Hart County Hospital.She was the widow of the late Joe H. Fendley, Sr.She was the retired owner of Pet Memorials Inc., a member of Iota Master Chapter of Bita Sigma Phi and the Elberton First Baptist Church. She is survived by one son Joe H. Fendley, Jr. and her daughter and son-in-law Melissa and Paul Caruso, two grandsons Kevin Michael Fendley, Jackson Reed Caruso and one sister Katherine Marie Sanders.She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, three sisters and a grandson Jefferson Fendley Caruso. Memorial services will be held at the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home on Wednesday September 10th at 4:00 PM with Reverend Michael Stovalland Reverend Ken Whitfield officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior, at 3:00 PM.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ROC Building Fund, via the First Baptist Church at 132 Heard Street, Elberton or the charity of one’s choice.
