Mrs. Mary Frances Vernon Taylor, 85, of Hartwell, wife of the late Howard O. Taylor, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017, at Hartwell Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Stephens County on June 21, 1931, daughter of the late Frank and Addie Howell Vernon. She was a member of Vanna United Methodist Church and a former member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Surviving are her children and their spouses: Elizabeth and Jimmy Brown of Elberton, Louie Taylor of Royston, Roger and Alice Taylor of Hartwell, and June Delores Taylor of Royston; grandchildren and their spouses: Bruce and Tracy Brown of Elberton, Brian and Erin Brown of Dublin, Jason Taylor of Hartwell, and Kevin and Tiffany Taylor of Hartwell; and siblings and their spouses: Annie and Julian Harbin, Willene Ayers, Brenda Pritchett, and Jimmy and Gail Forester.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 16, at 10 o’clock in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
