Mary Haley Rathbun passed away on May 2, 2020, at the age of 100. She was born in Hart County, Georgia to Ira Sereno Haley and Minnie Gaines Haley, and grew up in Elbert County.
Mary was a resident of Macon, Georgia for sixty years. She was employed at Robins Air Force base and was a faithful member of Glenwood Hills United Methodist church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Loren, as well as her twin sister, Margaret Ward, sisters: Reba Craft, and Wilma Barnett; and brothers, Armand, Hoyt, Tom, Holman and Edwin.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Kaye and son-in-law, Dave, of Cincinnati; grandchildren: David, Kristen, and Michael; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 10:00a.m. at New Bethel United Methodist Church in Elberton. Burial was held previously in the church cemetery.
