Mary Elizabeth “Libby” Ray Anderson, 80, of 1855 Double Bridges Road, Elberton, wife of Jack Anderson, died on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at her home in the loving care of her family and hospice. Born on December 12, 1929 in Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Clarise Moon Ray. Libby was a member of the Coldwater United Methodist Church and was retired from the Rockdale County School System as a bus driver. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 1:30 until 2:30 at the Hicks Funeral Home, Elberton. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 3PM in the Coldwater United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will be at the home, 1855 Double Bridges Road in the Coldwater Community. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Andrew J. “Jack” Anderson; and her children and their spouses, Linda and Greg Gerloch, Andy and Jeannie Anderson, Rick and Susan Anderson, Steve and Lori Anderson, and Rebecca Anderson. Libby was a loving grandmother to five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
