Ms. Lester was born May 6, 1951 in Athens, GA to Herbert P. Lester and Sarah Robinson Lester. She was a retired Librarian.

She is survived by her sister: Sarah Smith of Athens, GA.

Ms. Lester was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
