Mrs. Mary Frances Sanders Lunsford, age 95 of Dewy Rose, GA. passed away at PruittHealth Spring Valley on Thursday, July 14, 2016.Mrs. Lunsford was born on March 30, 1921 in Anderson, SC to the late Sherman and Hattie Lou Crook Sanders.She is also preceded in death by her husband, John Mahlon Lunsford, Sr. She is survived by two sons, John Lunsford, Jr. (Susan) of Dewy Rose and David Lunsford of Mineral Bluff, GA.; five grandchildren, Jarred Lunsford (Mona), Lisa Taft (Jason), Kelly Bradford (Shannon), David Lunsford (Laurel), and Daniel Lunsford (Jessica); ten great grandchildren, Ian, Adler and Evie Bradford, Mary Grace Lunsford, Sarah, Lilly and Hunter Taft, Mahlon and Stella Lunsford and Hannah Brown; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held in the chapel ofHicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services,Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tim Adams officiating.A private interment followed in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to TJ & Friends Foundation, P. O. Box 6161, Elberton, GA30635.
