Mary Ruth Benton

A daughter of the late William Walker Stewart and Julia Fricks Stewart. Survivors include a son Edward Len "Eddie" Benton, brother and sister-in-law Joe and Ruth Stewart, sister-in-laws Earla Stewart, and Sue Fourman, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John L. Benton, sister Montine Hardy, and brothers Luther Stewart, and Roy Stewart. Funeral services will be held Friday September 11, at 3PM at Hazel Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM Friday at Hazel Creek Baptist Church just prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
