Maryann West Griggs

Mrs. Maryann West Griggs died peacefully in her sleep at home in Elberton, Georgia on Monday, August 21, 2023, with her husband of 26 years, William Troy "Bill" Griggs, at her side. She was 76.

Born on June 9, 1947, in Washington, Pennsylvania, Maryann and her family relocated to California at a young age and she always considered California home.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Joy and Robin; grandchildren that she raised and loved as her own children: Brian and Ashley; additional granddaughter, Makenna; brother, Karl; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Maryann is preceded in death by her parents, Howard Henry West and Mary Virginia Miller West; and siblings: Joyce, Roberta, and Shirley.

She will be laid to rest in Elberton's Elmhurst Cemetery on Friday, September 1, 2023.
